On 18th October, 22 Irregulars and 1 non member completed a round of the 214 'Wainwrights' by ascending Gowbarrow. Of the 22 members, 20 achieved the round by completing the Group's Wainwright programme using routes devised by Stuart Marshall. Each member that completed the SM routes walked at least 422 miles and ascended at least 131,450 feet!

Irregulars Wainwright (Stuart Marshall) completers (20): Mick Abbott, Dave Adams, Mike Askey, Malcolm Bird, Gerald Dentith, Nick Ford, Pete Gardner, Ivan Grinrod, Rod Heywood, Frank Jennings, Andy Mohun-Smith, Jim Rigby, Glenn Rowe, Hilary Scott, Jenny Shepherd, Alan Tinker, Stephen Walker, Mike Warner, David Williams & Nigel West. Waterproof jackets were awarded to 16 members (Mick, Malcolm, Andy & Rod having already been awarded them for completing 50 x Buccaneer walks). This completion was the second achieved by Malcolm Bird & Andy Mohun-Smith.

A total of 76 different people (55 members and 21 guests) took part in the Group walks registering a total of 1,014 walks between them. The St John's Vale Skyline and the Coledale Horsehoe had at 40 the most completions, and The Head of Langdale the least with 23. The average was just over 28.
